The Rajasthan Camel Conservation Scheme 2025 is an Cultural Welfare initiative launched by the Government of Rajasthan in order to reduce the declining rate of the camels in Rajasthan. In the last two decades the population of Camels has been declined by 80% as in 1997 the population is 670,000 that declined by 210,000 in 2019.

What is Rajasthan Camel Conservation Scheme 2025?
This Rajasthan Camel Conservation Scheme also known as Rajasthan Camel Conservation Mission is launched by the Authorities of Rajasthan State with the intention of stopping the declining rate in the Camels in the state. According to this initiative the Authorities aims to provide a financial help of INR 20,000 to all the camel breeders so that they’ll breed more camels that somehow affect the declining population of camels.
The financial assistance provided under this yojana will be disbursed in two installments of INR 10,000 each. First Installment will be provided to the camel breeders when the camel calf is born and the second installment will be provided when the camel becomes one year old. This initiative will maintain the cultural heritage of the Rajasthan along with enhancing the quality of camel breeders lives.
