On 7th January 2025, the Union Minister of Road Transport & Highways Mr Nitin Gadkari came up with a modified scheme named Cashless Treatment Scheme 2025 under which the government aims to provide cashless treatment for all the Road Accident Victims nationwide. Under this scheme, the government aims to cover up all the cost of the treatment of Transport Accident Victims.
According to the government, this scheme applies to all victims of road accidents caused due to motor vehicles or ant transport machines. With the help of this scheme, the citizens will get high relief from the immediate expenses they face after the accidents. The Government will cover a maximum amount of INR 1.5 Lakh per accident. The Central Government has introduced this Cashless Treatment Scheme in order to provide support and assistance to all road accident victims across the nation. According to this scheme, the Government aims to provide cashless medical treatment of up to INR 1.5 lakh per victim. This initiative applies to all road transport accident victims across the nation.
