Recently, the Government of Maharashtra State has launched a Construction Workers Welfare initiative named Bandhkam Kamgar Yojana, under which the Government aims to provide financial help and other assistance to all the construction workers across Maharashtra State. About Bandhkam Kamgar Yojana
The Government of Maharashtra State has launched the Bandhkam Kamgar Yojana also known as the Maharashtra Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board. According to this initiative, the Government aims to provide financial help and healthcare benefits, and education support to all the construction workers and their families. Under this scheme, the Government will provide financial help ranging from INR 2,000 to INR 5,000 according to Lok Pahal. With the help of this initiative, the Construction Workers don’t have to worry about various challenges and issues faced by them, and the Government will offer Economic, Social & and health-related benefits to all the construction workers across the state.

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant must be a permanent resident of Maharashtra State.
- Only Construction Workers are eligible to apply.
- Applicants must have to work for at least 90 Days to be eligible to apply under this initiative.
- Age Criteria of Applicants should be between 18 to 45 years of age.
- Applicant must have be registered under Labour Welfare Board.
