About PM Shri Air Ambulance Yojana 2025
The Central Government of India has started this PM Shri Ambulance Yojana with the intention of providing medical treatment in very little time for all those patients who need immediate treatment for their injuries or serious conditions. According to this initiative, The government aims to provide Air ambulance facilities to all those citizens who need immediate treatment and live in remote areas where there are fewer medical resources in a very short time.
Under this yojana, All those citizens who are Ayushman Card Holders can avail of the benefits of this yojana free of cost along with free transportation to any other Ayushman Bharat-linked Hospitals out of the state and non-Ayushman cardholders will have to pay the fees of INR 2 Lakh rupees to get the benefits under this scheme.
In the case of paid service, the citizens have to pay INR 1,94,500 per hour for the helicopter service and INR 1,78,900 per hour for the converted flying ambulance.

The main objective behind this PM Shri Air Ambulance Yojana is to provide citizens immediate treatment who live in fewer medical resources remote areas. Under this yojana, the government will provide Air Ambulance services to all the citizens across the nation so that the Medical Team will reach the patients on time and save their lives. And those citizens who do not have Ayushman cards have to get paid for services provided under this scheme.
