What is the Indiramma Housing Scheme?
The Government of Telangana State has initiated this housing welfare program named Indiramma Housing Scheme with the intention of providing financial support and residential housing facilities to all the citizens who do not have a roof over their top. Under this scheme, the government aims to construct and provide affordable housing facilities to all homeless citizens across the state.
Along with this, the Government will provide a financial amount of INR 5 lakh to all the selected homeless beneficiaries so that they can build their home. Recently the government has started the Indiramma Housing Scheme First Phase under which the government plans to construct a total of 4.5 Lakh homes for the homeless citizens of the state. The residential homes provided by the government will include an RCC Roof, Kitchen, and toilet, and modern infrastructure will be used to build the houses.
The objective of Indiramma Housing Scheme List
The objective behind introducing this scheme is to improve the social status and life quality of homeless citizens by providing them with housing opportunities. Under this scheme, the government plans to construct 4.5 lakh residential properties for all the homeless citizens across the state. Along with the the house that government will provide will include an RCC Roof, Kitchen and Toilet, and modern infrastructure design. With the implementation of this initiative, the percentage of homeless citizens across the state will reduce.
